Cat Protection Society of NSW

  • Description

The Cat Protection Society of NSW was founded in 1958 by a group of cat lovers concerned with the plight of homeless street cats. The society instituted low cost desexing to reduce the number of kittens and therefore, the number of cats and kittens abandoned.

Today the Society is a registered charity with modern premises at 103 Enmore Rd Newtown, that includes a valuable rehoming facility, a fleet of air-conditioned ambulances and trained welfare officers.

But the motivation for our work remains the same....
Every cat deserves a responsible home.

Mission Statement
- To protect and enhance the welfare of cats.
- To educate the public about responsible cat ownership.
- To encourage community understanding of the issues surrounding the care and management of cats.
