The ThunderShirt is now also available for cats! This animal-friendly shirt calms cats without the use of drugs or medicines. It is easy to use and very effective.
Instructions for putting the ThunderShirt on your cat
- Place the ThunderShirt on your cat's back with the logo facing up. Attach the soft neck straps around the cat's chest. Close the Velcro straps and make sure you can fit 2 fingers between the chest and the shirt.
- Fold the long flap under the cat's torso and secure it with the Velcro strap. Attach it so that the ThunderShirt fits securely and comfortably. Make sure you can still fit 2 fingers between the chest and the shirt.
- Fold the top flap onto the cat's back, back onto the long flap and secure with the Velcro. Attach it in such a way that the ThunderShirt fits snugly.
Please note: some cats might act or respond strangely at first, for example, not wanting to move (freezing) or falling (flopping) over. Do not worry, it's nothing to worry about and part of getting used to the pressure as cats are very sensitive. What can you do now? You can start again and put the shirt on very loosely and let the cat get used to it for 5 to 10 minutes. In the meantime, do something fun with the cat so that it feels comfortable. If this goes well you can use the shirt longer next time and increase the pressure slightly.
Measure the chest circumference of the cat (just behind the front legs)
Size M chest circumference: 31-41 cm (4 to 6 kg)
For hygiene reasons, the ThunderShirt cannot be returned if it has come into contact with your pet.
