Extra

Extra, aptly named, is a feline that has 26 toes. She has seven toes on each front paw, and six toes on each back paw. It is normal to have five toes on both front and back paws. This is the result of an inherited genetic condition called polydactyly.

Cats with this condition tend to be pedigreed cats or larger cats such as the Maine Coons, and their personality tends to be very placid. Polydactyly is considered to be quite a common condition. Most felines with this condition live their lives without any associated problems.

Extra's owners claim that she is a 'good climber' and 'runs really fast'.
